Budapest, Hungary – November 25, 2025 – The EIT Jumpstarter 2025 Grand Finale in Budapest marked a major celebration of European innovation, bringing together 42 of the continent’s most promising start-ups from 17 countries. This year’s event, hosted by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), was the culmination of a record-breaking 908 applications—demonstrating the growing momentum of Europe’s start-up ecosystem and NaionX was honoured to be part of this journey.
About EIT Jumpstarter 2025
EIT Jumpstarter is a leading pre-acceleration program designed to transform scientific discoveries into viable businesses, with a special focus on strengthening innovation ecosystems across Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe. Participants benefit from:
15 hours of online bootcamp for business basics and pitching
40 hours of in-person training to develop business plans and soft skills
Mentorship and networking with experts and peers across Europe
Opportunities to pitch live at the Grand Finale for a share of €132,500 in prizes
Since 2017, the program has helped create 140 start-ups, trained over 1,200 participants, generated more than 2,000 jobs, and attracted approximately €150 million in external investment.
NaionX’s Journey in EIT Jumpstarter 2025
This year NaionX proudly participated in several of the first training stages of the EIT Jumpstarter. Our team engaged in the program’s intensive online and in-person sessions, gaining practical knowledge on business development, pitching, and innovation strategy. These early-stage trainings were invaluable in shaping our approach to scaling sodium-ion battery technology for the European market.
Although NaionX did not advance to the Grand Finale, we are deeply grateful to the EIT Jumpstarter organizers and mentors for their outstanding support and knowledge-sharing throughout the journey. The experience has not only strengthened our business fundamentals but also expanded our network within Europe’s innovation community.
